There have been a number of instances of youngsters ringing door bells in the village late at night. More of a nuisance than a threat, but in one case a 5 foot long wooden post was placed against the door which then fell into the hallway when the door was answered. Fortunately no injury was caused.
The police have been informed and as a result the local policing team will carry out extra evening/night patrols in the village.
